FAULHABER has had a company site in Switzerland for over 50 years. The company founded by Dr. Fritz Faulhaber Sr. develops, produces and supplies drive solutions based on the bell-type armature technology for a multitude of sophisticated applications both in the Swiss market and internationally.

FAULHABER MINIMOTOR SA with a site covering an area of around 5000 m² has been resident in Croglio, in the Swiss canton of Tessin, since 1962. At this site located close to the Italian border, FAULHABER currently employs 290 people who develop and produce a broad spectrum of motor, gearhead and linear drive technology that form part of the extensive range of FAULHABER products. A large proportion of the components and drive systems manufactured there is destined for renowned Swiss companies producing medical and laboratory equipment, optics, watches as well as automation and robotics systems.
The close proximity to Swiss customers and to precision parts suppliers based in Switzerland makes the local expertise and technical know-how in many different application fields an important locational advantage.
