Micro MIM Japan consists of a R&D laboratory to support our customers' product innovation using μ-MIM technology. This includes new alloy product development, surface treatment suggestions, design optimisation for mass production etc.

Our R&D supports customers' innovation via μ-MIM technology

Micro MIM Japan R&D laboratory conducts research on µ-MIM focusing on technology developed in-house to guarantee the quality of our products. We have applied various types of analysis equipment such as X-ray CT, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), optical 3D measurement system, universal tensile test machine, carbon analyzer, etc. in order to maintain the reliability of μ-MIM quality.

Our R&D service includes new material or new alloy trials, improving mechanical properties through optimization of processing conditions, new surface treatment development, optimization of product design for mass production, measurement service, etc.

Micro MIM Japan has been conducting joint research with the following universities, companies and research institutes among others.
