SX proFRAME 3.0 im CompactPCI-Serial- und PCIe Format (PC)
The recently completed third SX proFRAME generation - the SX proFRAME Base Board 3.0 - with a Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ ZU4 MPSoC and 2 GB DDR4 memory - achieves a maximum data rate of up to 6.4 GByte/s, which is up to four times higher than its successful predecessor SX proFRAME 2.0, has even more interfaces and is also available in the industrial format CompactPCI Serial for the first time.
Users in the medical field benefit from the long-term availability required for such an industrial product. Video interface adapters are already available, but the integration of customer-specific interfaces and functions is also simple. One reason for this: The hardware, software and FPGA IP cores used in the proFRAME system are all Solectrix proprietary developments. This avoids dependence on third-party components.
The first camera adapter available for the proFRAME 3.0, the SX camAD3 Dual MAX9296A, is equipped with two GMSL2 deserializers of the Maxim MAX9296A type. Models with GMSL2 serializers and adapters for future camera generations with GMSL3 devices from Maxim and the upcoming FPD-Link IV devices from Texas Instruments are in preparation.
Depending on the application, the new version SX proFRAME 3.0 can record up to four camera image data streams, simultaneously forward them to an ECU or play them back. When used with video data, real-time processing can be performed simultaneously via FPGA-based imaging modules that build on Solectrix's extensive know-how in the field of digital image processing. An extensive and documented SW library with API for controlling the SX proFRAME from a host system (Windows 10 or Linux) completes the offer. Competent and fast support from Solectrix experts enables customers to integrate the SX proFRAME 3.0 into their specific environment quickly and purposefully, such as Hardware-in-the-Loop systems (HIL) for the validation of ADAS/AD control units in the vehicle or development platforms for diagnostic systems or surround and stereo camera systems.
