Wearables are the megatrend in the healthcare sector. They measure vital signs or
monitor bodily functions and accompany more and more people through everyday
life and leisure. A long battery life is a decisive feature for all portable consumer products. This is especially true for healthcare technology products, but also for smart watches or
wireless headphones. Microdul‘s Human Body Detector (HBD) detects when a product is worn. When not in use, it can automatically switch off power-intensive functions, thereby significantly extending battery life and runtime.
